About
Dr. Stacy Peck, DACM, L.Ac.
Licensed acupuncturist, Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, and author.
When Dr. Peck was studying for her board exams, she discovered what every Chinese medicine student eventually realizes: memorizing 217 herbs through brute-force repetition simply doesn't work. So she encoded each herb's properties into original mnemonic poems. That system became Herbal Rhymes, which now covers herbs, 128 formulas and 361+ acupuncture points, and is used by students preparing for the NCBAHM (formerly NCCAOM) and CALE exams.
Her books for general readers take the same idea, making a complex tradition clear, and apply it to everyday health. Your Body Is Trying to Tell You Something explains what 50+ common symptoms mean in Chinese medicine. What Would Your Acupuncturist Say? is an A-to-Z guide to 45 health concerns, with recipes and acupressure routines you can do at home.
